ACOSM18: ITSecurity – The Great Debate

To round off 2018, QESP will host an ACOSM18 debate on Thursday evening 20th  December at the Swissotel Sydney.  This will be run as a joint QESP/ ACS NSW Branch event, open to all and with discounts to QESP/ ACS NSW Branch members.  The theme is  IT  Security,  debated  by a panel of ICT industry gurus fielding questions from enthusiastic practitioners. 

The Panel has representatives from QESP and ACS NSW Branch, Julian (Jolly) Day, Founder & CEO of Consensus, will Chair the debate. The Panel includes:

Julia Checchia, President, PMI  Sydney; 
Deepsika Basnet, Vice Chair of the NSW Branch Executive Committee (BEC);
Ted Smillie, QESP Chair;
Annette Slunjski, Managing Director, Institute of Analytics Professionals of Australia (IAPA); 
Michael T. McDonald, FlatWorld Integration & KimMic Int. Co-Founder/CTO/CDO;
 
Digital Transformation/Solutions Architecture Consultant (whose topic will be the legislation quickly passed by Canberra to allow authorities to access encrypted messages.)
Jeff Lock,  founding member of the Software Quality Association (NSW), and  high profile representatives from the ACS and the ICT Industry.

  • Opening by Chair and introduction of Panel 6.00
  • 5 minute presentations by each of the Panel 6.15
  • Q&A  6.45
